Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's soccer team (1-1-2, 1-0-0 CACC) fell short in a home contest Saturday against University of Bridgeport (3-1, 0-0 ECC) 3-0. Sophomore forward Trisha Sileo (Islip, NY/Islip H.S.) had three shots for the Lady Rams.

Bridgeport scored at 21:53 in the first period with an unassisted goal by Bjarnadottir to take the 1-0 lead. UB scored again with a goal from Kenny at 59:12 in the second period and from a penalty kick by Stanley at 66:01.

Sophomore goal keeper Kelli Kowalewski (Shamong, NJ/Seneca H.S.) played all 90 minutes racking up 10 saves.

The maroon and grey return to action on Wednesday (9/15) at Ravenhill Field to take on C.W. Post at 4:30 p.m.
