Prior coaching and competitive experience is requested, with collegiate coaching experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) is seeking applications for a part-time Assistant Women's Soccer Coach.  The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach is charged with supporting all the duties and responsibilities of the head coach.  He/she is responsible for assisting in planning, programming, directing, supervising and implementing the daily tasks and functions of the women's soccer program.  The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Coach. 

He/she will assist in scouting opponents and the overall operating and planning of practice and game competition.  At times, the assistant coach may be in command of: conducting portions of practice drills, managing equipment, working with managers, public relations, keeping statistics, etc.    All assistant coaches must take and pass the Division II coaches certification test in order to be eligible to recruit prospective student-athletes.

Furthermore, in the absence of the Head Coach, the assistant coach will assume all responsibilities of the Head Coach.
