Women’s Soccer Picked to Finish Third in CACC Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's soccer team, headed by coach George Dunbar in his 20th season, was picked to finish third in the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Preseason Poll. The news was announced by the CACC on Wednesday morning.

In the coaches' poll, the Rams received 131 points with one first-place vote behind Georgian Court (164) and Wilmington (145).

Last season, Dunbar and the Rams finished 9-9 with an 8-4 conference mark as their season came to an end in the CACC Quarterfinals against Goldey-Beacom.

The 2018 season begins at home on Thursday, Aug. 30 against Millersville. Action starts at 4 p.m. from Ravenhill Field.
