Senior defender Morgan Foster of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's soccer team was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Women's Soccer First Team selected by CoSIDA for NCAA Division II. Foster earned a spot of the District 1 First Team comprised of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10 Conference. The news was announced via a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) press release on Thursday, Nov. 8.
The 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
Foster owns a 3.842 cumulative grade point average as a physician assistant studies major. The senior appeared in 12 games in 2018 while earning starts in seven affairs, all while balancing a rigorous course load in the school's PA major. A Stony Brook, New York native, Foster scored one goal and tallied an assist on the year.
