ALBANY, N.Y. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's soccer team could not withstand a first half barrage by Saint Rose (2-0) as the Rams dropped their season opener, 6-0 on Sunday.
Jefferson placed two shots on goal in the opening 20 minutes but they were saved by the goalkeeper. The Golden Knights then caught fire, notching four goals in just over nine minutes to take a 4-0 advantage with 14:24 remaining in the first half. The Rams managed just two shots after the break and Saint Rose added a pair of insurance goals on the way to the win.
- Graduate student Erin Tinneny stopped two shots for Jefferson.

Jefferson plays its home opener versus Queens (N.Y.) on Saturday, September 14 at 2:30 p.m.
