Women's Soccer Scores Early and Late at Dominican, Increases Win Streak To Six

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team (6-3, 6-0 CACC) upped its win streak to six games with a 2-0 triumph at Dominican (N.Y.) (2-8-2, 0-4-2 CACC) on Saturday.

GAMEPLAY
The Rams wasted little time at the start of the contest, taking the lead in the third minute. Sophomore Ava Albergo beat the goalkeeper with a shot from outside of the box on the left side. Jefferson continued to control play throughout the first half, leading the shot count by a 9-1 margin.

The Chargers picked up their play in the second period, totaling six shots compared to five for the Rams. However, just one of Dominican's shots was on target and Jefferson kept the Chargers off of the scoreboard.
