Complete 2016 Women's Tennis Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Second year head coach Zach Elbin has released the 2016 fall schedule for the Philadelphia University women's tennis team on Wednesday.

The Rams will play 15 matches during their championship season, nine coming away from home. The team is going to be busy in September as Philadelphia has 10 matches scheduled.

Philadelphia opens the season with non-conference road matches. The Rams visit Holy Family in the season opener on Sept. 1 and then will head to New York two day later for a showdown with Molloy.

After playing its first home match of the season on Sept. 7 against Cabrini, Philadelphia goes right back on the road for clashes against Shippensburg on Sept. 10, Gwynedd-Mercy on Sept. 13, and the University of the Sciences on Sept. 14. The match against USciences kicks off Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.

The Rams return to non-conference play on the weekend of Sept. 17-18 to face Daemen in a home match and travel to Millersville.

Philadelphia starts a string of five straight CACC contests on Sept. 20 at Goldey-Beacom. The Rams end the September portion of their schedule with a home match against Chestnut Hill on Sept. 28.

The Rams' longest trip of the season, a bus ride to Waterbury, Conn. for a match with Post, awaits the team on Oct. 1. Philadelphia comes back home to face Holy Family for the second time this season, this time in a CACC match on Oct. 4.

On Oct. 8, the Rams head to Delaware to take on Wilmington (Del.), a first-year program, for a CACC match.

The regular season ends with consecutive home matches against Roberts Wesleyan on Oct. 9 and CACC opponent Caldwell on Oct. 15.
