Women's 4x400 Meter Relay Sets New School Record at 125th Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's track & field team broke a school record during its trip to the legendary Penn Relays on Thursday. It is the 125th running of the prestigious event at Franklin Field.

Senior Rachel Meier, freshman Sadie Horner, freshman Brittany Gable and senior Victoria Hochuli teamed up to run a school-record time of 4:21.70 and they finished 13th in the 4x400 meter relay CTC race. The previous mark was 4:24.55 from the 2017 Penn Relays and Meier and Hochuli were on that squad. It is the eighth straight year that the Rams have run the 4x400 at the iconic meet.

In addition, senior Lindsey Carl competed in the high jump but did not record a height. It was her first time jumping at the Penn Relays.
