PhilaU Volleyball Handles Wilmington With Ease, 3-0

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (11-8, 8-4 CACC) dominated Wilmington University in three straight sets tonight. Set scores were: 25-15, 25-20, and 25-16. The victory is the team’s second straight and fourth out of their last five overall.

Offensively for the Rams, sophomore outside hitter Brittany Olson led the charge with 11 kills on the night. Juniors Ellie Edgar and Danielle Carney had eight kills respectively in the match. 

Defensively for PhilaU, Danielle Carney finished with a game-high 20 digs. Junior Morgan McCarthy ended up with 19 digs on the evening. The Rams collectively knocked down seven blocks on the night.

PhilaU looks to continue their dominance tomorrow night (10/12) as they travel to Millersville University for a 7:00 p.m. start.
