The Rams comfortably won the first two sets, trailing for just one point early in the second set. After dropping the third set to Holy Family, the two teams battled in the fourth.

The fourth was tied at 3-3, 7-7 and 9-9 before the Tigers started to take a slight lead, as many as four at 13-9 and 16-12. Jefferson hung tough, tying the set back up at 19-19. An attack error by Jefferson gave Holy Family a chance at a set point at 25-24 but an attack error by the Tigers evened it back up. A Tiger kill gave them a 26-25 lead once again but Jefferson won the next three points to win the set and the match.

The Rams make a quick turnaround and host the Felician Golden Falcons tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 7 at noon in the Gallagher Center in a CACC matchup to continue Homecoming Weekend. A live video stream and live stats will be available.
