PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) volleyball is approaching the end of their 2017 regular season. On Saturday, the Rams host the Georgian Court Lions from the Gallagher Center at noon in a CACC matchup. Jefferson closes out its regular-season home slate on Monday, Nov. 6 in a nonconference affair against Lincoln (Pa.) at 6 p.m., which also comes as the team's Senior Night.
The Rams are currently riding a 10-match winning streak into this weekend's action. Bring a 21-6 overall record and 16-1 conference mark, the Rams look to keep the momentum going through the regular season into the CACC Championship. On Monday, Jefferson will honor senior Corinne Justus as part of the squad's annual Senior Night.
The Lions bring an 11-18 overall and 9-7 CACC record into Saturday's matchup. Georgian Court is coming off a five-set loss to Holy Family last Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Lincoln (Pa.) is currently 4-18 overall and 2-13 in CIAA conference play. The Lion last played on Monday, Oct. 30, falling to Virginia State in three sets.
Jefferson Volleyball closes the regular season with a conference matchup at Bloomfield on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. The No. 1 CACC South-seeded Rams will then host a conference quarterfinals matchup in the Gallagher Center on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
