Volleyball Sweeps Road Doubleheader Over Felician, Lincoln (Pa.)

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) volleyball team (18-7, 12-1 CACC) swept a road doubleheader from Job Gym in Rutherford, N.J over Felician and Lincoln (Pa.) on Saturday afternoon. The conference victory over the Felician Golden Falcons moved the Rams to 12-1 in CACC play.

The pair of wins also came as the sixth- and seventh-straight for Jefferson, tying a season high.

JEFFERSON DEF. FELICIAN, 25-19, 25-17, 27-25
-Senior Daniela Cintrón led the match with 13 kills. She also added 14 digs and three block assists in the double-double.
-Junior Ariana Rosario also notched a double-double behind 11 kills and 10 digs.
-Junior Alexis Leddy recorded a match-high 25 digs
-Sophomore Abigail Kress and junior Amber Johnson each grabbed eight digs in the sweep. Johnson added three block assists.
-Senior Alexandra Harrington turned in 36 assists and nine digs

JEFFERSON DEF. LINCOLN (PA), 25-5, 25-6, 25-6
-Sophomore Logan Dontell led the match with seven kills while she hit .500 on 10 attacks with two services aces and two block assists.
-Cintrón added six kills while Rosario and senior Olivia Manning had five apiece.
Rosario also had a match-high seven services aces while Cintrón (3), sophomore Meghan Patterson (3), senior Emily Pilla (2) Dontell (2) and freshman Molly Hand (1) followed suit.
