Women’s Cross Country Wins 10th CACC Championship, Fifth Straight

RESULTS

PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's cross country team won the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship on Sunday morning from Belmont Plateau (5 kilometers) in Philadelphia. The conference championship comes as the fifth straight for the Rams and 10th in the past 11 years, all under head coach Dave Thomas.

The Jefferson women's cross country program is the first team in the CACC to win 10 conference championships. Concordia Men's Tennis and Wilmington Men's Golf have each won eight titles.

For their top-15 performances junior Erin Young (third), junior Meghan Horan (11th), sophomore Kali Safer (13th), junior Nicole Stough (14th) and freshman Maddy Frasch (15th) were named All-CACC.
