Women’s Cross Country Places 10th of 27 at NCAA East Region Championships; Young All-Region

BETHPAGE, N.Y. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's cross country team raced at the 2018 NCAA DII East Region Championships on Saturday afternoon from Bethpage State Park in a 6-kilometer event. The Rams finished 10th of 27 teams as junior Erin Young was the top Jefferson finisher in 22nd place of 184 individuals.

For her top-25 finish, Young was named an NCAA All-East Region honoree for the first time of her collegiate career.
