Lakewood, NJ- The Philadelphia University
women's lacrosse team (5-5, 5-2 CACC) fell to Georgian Court
University (9-2, 6-0 CACC) for the second time this season, this
one a 15-9 loss on the road. The Lady Rams were led by senior
attack Sarah Davis's (Dublin, OH/ Dublin) three
goals, while freshman midfielder Caribeth Shappell
(Lancaster, PA/ Cocalico) added two.
GCU took an 8-5 lead at the half and never looked back, leading
by as many as eight goals (13-5) at the 19:05 mark in the second
half.
Junior goalie Katherine Sullivan (Mt. Laurel,
NJ/ Lenape) had six saves in 60 minutes for PhilaU.
The Lady Rams return to action on April 10th at
Molloy at 4:00 p.m.
