women's tennis team (3-5, 2-3 CACC) dropped their third
straight in an 8-1 loss to CACC defending champs Concordia College
(5-0, 5-0 CACC) on Saturday afternoon at the Abraham J.
Salaman'58 Courts.
PhilaU junior #4 singles player Brittany Villa
provided a bright spot on the day, picking up a hard-fought 6-4,
7-5 win over CC's Ana Mendes to end the contest.
Also fighting hard was #3 singles senior Daniela Rodriguez, who fell 6-0, 2-6, 10-6 to CC's Juliana
Frem.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday (10/6) at home vs. West
Chester University at 3:30 p.m.
