Philadelphia PA- The Philadelphia University women's tennis team (2-2, 1-0 CACC) fell to La Salle, 6-3, at La Salle University Tuesday afternoon.

PhilaU #1 freshman Isabella Espinosa def. La Salle's Kiara Smith 6-4, 6-0, for her fourth consecutive victory. No. 2 senior Daniela Rodriguez def. Elli Vamvakitis 6-2, 6-3.  PhilaU picked up their third singles victory of the night as #3 junior Brittany Villa def. Allison Amrein 7-5, 7-5.

In doubles play, PhilaU fell in all three matches.   

PhilaU returns to action on Wednesday (9/22) when they host Caldwell College at 3:30 p.m.
