PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team (4-2) had an off night offensively as the Rams fell to visiting West Chester, 75-61, in non-conference action on Monday.

GAMEPLAY
Jefferson held an early 6-5 lead in the opening quarter before the Golden Rams surged ahead with a 15-0 run spanning over four minutes to take a 20-6 advantage. West Chester maintained a 14-point cushion (24-10) into the second period.

After a Golden Rams three-pointer made it 27-10, the Rams fought back with seven straight points to get within 10 (27-17). However, WCU dashed Jefferson's hopes with a 15-1 stretch to up the margin to 24 (42-18), its largest lead of the evening. The score was 42-23 at halftime.

In the third, the Rams looked to have momentum after cutting the deficit to 15 (48-33) with 6:49 on the clock. However, West Chester answered with a three and a pair of free throws to get it back to a 20-point advantage (53-33). Jefferson closed the gap to 14 (61-47) in the fourth but an 8-0 run by the Golden Rams squashed any chance of a comeback.
