PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team (5-2, 1-0 CACC) outscored visiting Wilmington (Del.) 19-4 in the first quarter and never looked back on the way to a 74-37 victory in the conference opener on Wednesday.

GAMEPLAY
The score was even at two early in the first when the Rams took over with a 15-0 run. Four different players contributed to the surge. Jefferson continued to pull away in the second, starting the frame with nine straight points. The Rams tallied the last seven points of the stanza as well and led 43-13 at halftime. Jefferson proceeded to stifle the Wildcats further in the second half, leading by as many as 43 (68-25) on the way to the win.
