Both Varsity Boats Take Silver To Make History at Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – For the first time in program history, the Thomas Jefferson University women's rowing team had multiple boats medal in a single Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta as both the Varsity Four and Varsity Eight took silver in their respective events at the famed regatta contested on the Cooper River on Friday and Saturday.
 
The two second-place performances upped Jefferson's all-time medal count at Dad Vail to six. The Rams have now earned at least one medal at the regatta three years in a row, also a program first.

The Rams will await a potential bid to the NCAA Championships, which will take place on the Cooper River on May 26th and 27th. The six competing teams will be announced via a selection show on NCAA.com on Tuesday, May 16th at 5:30 p.m.
