Women's Basketball Drops Rematch to Dominican
ORANGEBURG, N.Y. - After tying the game early in the fourth quarter, Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball (7-5, 1-2) could not keep up with the Chargers as the Rams fall 72-63 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to Dominican University of New York (11-4, 3-0) in Saturday afternoon action. Dominican took the rematch after Jefferson defeated the Chargers early on in the season in a non-conference matchup on November 13, 2024.
WHAT HAPPENED

Cassie Murphy scored 6 of her season-high 25 points in the first quarter, which she would replicate in the second and third as well, while Emma Kuczynski connected on two of her shots for four points. Murphy also added four of her 10 rebounds as well, collecting her fourth double double this season

Kuczynski put up 7 of her 11 first half points in the second as she went 3-of-4 on the floor and 1-2 from beyond the arc. Murphy went 3-of-5 on shooting. Nigro, Kaya Burkhart, and Carolyn Sipprell added a basket while Recinto was 1-of-2 on the free throw line
