Rams Control Tempo as Women's Basketball Defeats Goldey-Beacom
WILMINGTON, Del. – Going into the contest with opportunities to secure a home match for the CACC Tournament, the Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team (15-6, 9-2) controlled the game as they went on to defeat Goldey-Beacom College (716, 4-7) 77-58 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South division competition on Wednesday.

The Rams shot 52.5% on the floor through four quarters, going over 50% in three of them (71.43% in the first, 53.33% in the second, and 69.23% in the fourth). Jefferson made their mark on the charity stripe, shooting 15-of-18 on free throws

Cassie Murphy put up a season-high 28 points on the day, going 11-of-18 on the floor, 6-6 free throws, and adding 14 rebounds to secure her 10th double double this season that has her at 18th in the country
