Rams (1-4) racked up a season-high seven runs again the
nationally-ranked West Chester University Golden Rams, as freshman
utility player Jeff Bohus (Cherry Hill, NJ/ Cherry
Hill East) hit his second homer of the year in falling 12-7 in
PhilaU's final game down south.
Bohus' round-tripper knocked in senior shortstop Tyler
Mentzer (Pittsburgh, PA/ Delone Catholic) for two
scores. Sophomore catcher Brian Clark
(Lakewood, CO/ Bear Creek) had an RBI double for his first
collegite hit, and also had a solid game behind the plate-throwing
out a runner.
The trip saw another first, as Interim Head Coach John
DiMeglio notched his first collegiate win as a head coach
in the weekend's earlier 4-3 win over Molloy College.
The team will have nine days of practice before heading to West
Chester (2/10) for a 2:30 p.m. single game.
