NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University catcher Sam Gomez was selected to the All-CACC Softball First Team, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Tuesday.
 
Gomez led the Rams and all conference catchers with a .400 batting average in CACC games. She tallied three doubles, 10 RBI, and seven runs while posting an OPS of .878. The junior compiled a .980 fielding percentage and threw out six runners from behind the plate. Overall, Gomez hit .350 in 38 games with four doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI, and 12 runs. She was first on the squad with 41 hits. Gomez was a member of the CACC weekly honor roll one time.
