Men's Tennis Finishes Regular Season with Perfect CACC Record; Defeats Dominican 6-1
MONSEY, N.Y. - Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (16-4, 9-0) concluded their regular season and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play as they faced Dominican University of New York (1-9, 0-8) on Tuesday. The Rams were able to defeat the Chargers 6-1 and complete a perfect conference record, winning their 12th straight match in a row, their longest streak since winning 11 last season.
WHAT HAPPENED
Jefferson took the first doubles position game while Dominican won the third match. The Rams were able to take the second doubles position win and earn the first points on the day.
Jefferson won the second and fourth position singles matches to go up 3-0. After the Chargers won the sixth spot, the Rams went on to get victories in the fifth, first, and third positions to earn the 6-1 win.
