Jefferson Softball Takes Two Wins Over Chestnut Hill
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Jefferson softball (5-14) secured a doubleheader sweep against Chestnut Hill (9-12-1) on Wednesday, winning both games with strong pitching and timely hitting.
GAME ONE: W, 8-0 (6 INNINGS)
- Jefferson broke the game open in the second inning, scoring five runs, highlighted by Annie Eliason's two-run double. Bridget Shields and Remy Smith each added RBI doubles to make it 5-0.
- The Rams extended their lead in the fourth with two more runs off a Devin Brandley single. Sabrina Pastino capped the scoring with an RBI double in the sixth to seal the 8-0 win.
- Delaney Alix dominated in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout with nine strikeouts while allowing just six hits.

- Jefferson broke the game open in the fourth, scoring three runs due to Chestnut Hill errors. Madeline Holmes put the exclamation mark on the win with a solo home run in the fifth.
- Lily Hutt delivered another strong start, throwing five shutout innings, and Liv Stevens closed and sealed the win.
