Three Track & Field Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Recognition
 
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Thomas Jefferson University track & field had three of their athletes get recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) as they earned All-East Region honors for their placements in their respective events. Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Jaden Foster earns East Region honors in the 400 meters, Annalee Capuano makes it in the 1500 meters, and Natalie McFadden is honored in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
 
Foster gets All-East Region honors as he made was in the top-5 in the 400-meter event. He finished as a silver medalist in the CACC Championships, earning him All-CACC Second Team honors. The junior ran his best time in the event this year at the Paul Donahue Invitational with a 48.16. He has placed in the top-4 of every race he has competed in the 400 event, including first at the Bill Butler Invitational and the initial heats of the CACC Championships.
 
Capuano captures the All-East Region nod in the 1500-meter race as she won the event at the CACC Championships for the third straight year to make All-CACC First Team as she ran a 4:54.53 time. The junior has finished in the top-6 in four of the five races she has participated in for the 1500 meter, including first place at the Ursinus Track & Field Festival. The Rochester, N.Y. native had her best time this season at the Danny Curran Invitational, running a 4:40.24 time in the event.
 
McFadden gets All-East Region recognition for an event she is only in her second year of competing in the 3000-meter steeplechase. The sophomore broke the school record and meet record at the CACC Championships with a 11:37.77 time. The All-CACC First Team runner in that event only ran the steeplechase one other time this year, breaking her own record from the previous year and finishing second at the Danny Curran Invitational.
