Matuszewski Earns Batting Title in Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University baseball sophomore Thomas Matuszewski keeps his hot streak from the 2025 season as he won the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League batting title.

Matuszewski, who is playing for the North Fork Ospreys this summer, led the league with a .403 batting average on the season. He beats out fellow teammate Nick Pratt to claim the title. The All-American first basemen went 31-for-77 at-bat during the summer, making 17 runs with four doubles, a triple, and 3 homeruns along with 24 RBI's that tie him for fourth in the league.

Matuszewski returns to the new school year after leading the Rams with a .438 batting average, going 89-of-203 at-bat with 68 runs, 24 doubles, 4 triples, 10 homeruns, and 83 RBI's on the season. This helped him earn CACC Player of the Year as well as All-Region and All-American honors throughout Jefferson's postseason run as the top-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
