25 Jefferson Student-Athletes Make CACC Fall All-Academic Team
 
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University placed 25 student-athletes on the CACC Fall All-Academic Teams announced this week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
 
The Rams have the most student-athletes make the All-Academic Teams from the conference with 25. Georgian Court University follows behind with 23.
 
This year the criteria to make the All-Academic Team has changed. There is academic requirements and sport participation standards.
 
Academic Requirements
  • Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically.
  • A student-athlete must be in their second year at current institution.
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale). Cumulative GPAs include semester grades from the current season
  • A first-year graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student.
 
Sport Participation Standards
  • Soccer/Volleyball: Compete in at least 2/3s (67%) of team's games or started in at least half (50%) of team's games/matches.
  • Cross Country: Competed in 2/3s (67%) of team's tournaments/meets or competed in the CACC Championship of the respective sport.
