Five Student-Athletes Earn Weekly Awards
 
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University had five of their student-athletes be recognized with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly award honors for competition on the week. Baseball's Justin Egner was named CACC Player of the Week with Rozalee Negron earning the same distinction for softball. Kalyn Ammerlaan took home Goalkeeper of the Week recognition for women's lacrosse. Dylan Boyle earned CACC Track Rookie of the Week honors with Olivia Grahn earning two awards as she was the CACC Track Athlete and Track Rookie of the Week.
 
JUSTIN EGNER – PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This is Egner's first weekly award this season and his career while also being the first for the team this year. Went 5 for 10 with a double and three home runs during three starts of a 2-2 week for the Rams. Drove in six runs and scored five. Slugged 1.500 and added two walks and two hit batsmen for a .643 on-base percentage. Homered twice during a 12-11 victory over Chestnut Hill on Mar. 31.
 
ROZALEE NEGRON – PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This is Negron's first weekly award this season and her career while this is the third for the team on the year. In the Rams' only action of the week, went 6 for 7 with two doubles, a triple, five runs scored and seven RBI during a doubleheader sweep of Chestnut Hill on Apr. 1. Drove in five runs during an 11-5 Game 1 victory. Was 3 for 3 plus a walk as Jefferson took the nightcap, 12-1.
 
KALYN AMMERLAAN – GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Ammerlaan takes her second weekly award this season, fifth in her career, while giving the team their third on the year. Went 2-0 with a 4.00 goals-against average and a .724 save percentage, adding six ground balls. Made 14 saves during a 7-6 victory over Wilmington (No. 20 USA Lacrosse) on Apr. 1. Followed with seven saves as the Rams defeated Chestnut Hill, 20-2, on Saturday.
 
DYLAN BOYLE – TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
This is Boyle's first weekly award for track & field this season and his career while it's the team's second on the year. Boyle finished third in the 5000-meter run at the Ursinus Springfest, crossing the line in 15:45.30. His time was the fastest in the event by a CACC runner this week and ranks third on this season's outdoor performance list.
 
OLIVIA GRAHN – TRACK ATHLETE AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Grahn continues to earn weekly awards, with this being her third and four weekly honors this year and fifth for the team overall. She became the CACC's first female track athlete to surpass an NCAA provisional standard during the 2026 outdoor season. Finished second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Ursinus Springfest with a school-record time of 10:50.08. Currently ranks 16th nationally in Division II in the event.
