Background:
- Competed in cross country and track & field for four years at Methacton High School.
- He competed in pole vault where he hit multiple personal best during his career: 11' (sophomore), 12'6" (junior), and 13'6" (senior)
- He also ran a personal best 21:00 5k his freshman year
- Eagle Scout for Boy Scouts of America
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Ambassador
