Alan Tran joined the athletic training staff in March of 2024.
Before joining the Rams, Tran works as a Club Athletic Trainer at Novacare. He works with athletes on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries and illnesses as well as educating and advising athletes on injury prevention, nutrition and wellness, and enahcing their health and performance. Tran helps with rehabilitation programs and treatments for athletes while communicating and collaborating with coaches, physicians, EMS, and other health care professionals.
Prior to that, Tran has worked in a few athletic departments at schools and businesses, giving him Immersive Clinical Experience as a Student Athletic Trainer. He has worked at St. Joseph Preparatory School (Oct. 2021), University of Pennsylvania (Mar. 2022), Rothman Orthopedics (July 2022), Syracuse University (August 2022), and Eastern University (Jan. 2023) where he worked with student athletes om a variety of sports to handle injuries and rehabilitation as well as educate student-athletes on their physical health.
Tran is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry. He went on to receive his Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Thomas Jefferson University in May of 2023. The Sewell, New Jersey native is a NATA Member, CPR and First Aid Certified, and holds his BOC and State License.
