Lady Rams Still Perfect in League Play After Win Over Goldey-Beacom

Freshman goalkeeper Kristen Mauro made one save in her first career start, earning the win for the Philadelphia University women's soccer team in a 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom College on Tuesday, October 23rd at home.  The triumph improves the Lady Rams to 12-4-0 overall including a perfect 10-0-0 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

Sophomore forward Jenna Williams (shown) put the Lady Rams on the board first, tallying her fourth goal of the season at the 41:40 mark with help on an assist from junior defender Kelly Davis.  Senior midfielder/forward Brianna Reinford extended the lead to two goals with her team-high tenth marker of the season at 59:13 of the contest for the Lady Rams while junior midfielder/forward Christy Bauckman closed the scoring with her third goal of the year with just under 14 minutes remaining, sealing the win.

Up next for Head Coach George Dunbar and his team will be Holy Family University on Thursday, October 25th, on the road in a matchup of the top two teams in the CACC standings.
