Pellecchia Named CACC Rookie of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball freshman Ana Pellecchia was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week by the conference office this afternoon for competition that ran through December 15-21. 

ANA PELLECCHIA – ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Pellecchia takes her first weekly award of the season and her career, giving their team their second award winner this year. She averaged 7.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg this week while shooting 33.3% on the floor. Pellecchia began with a career-high in points (12) and rebounds (7) along with 2 steals and 2 assists against Millersville in 24 minutes off the bench. She followed it up with 2 points and 3 rebounds in 10 minutes in the victory over St. Thomas Aquinas.
