7 Basketball Players Make CACC All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University men's and women's basketball had seven total athletes make the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team on Tuesday.  

Shane Cercone made the list for the men's team while Emily Spratt, Tori Nigro, Jordyn Thomas, Gabby Recinto, Carolyn Sipprell, and Kaci Mikulski represented the women's team. 

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of his/her team's games or start at least half.
