women's volleyball team, which fell in a heartbreaker to visiting
East Stroudsburg University, 3-2.
The visiting Warriors took the opening two games by scores of 30-24
and 30-21 before Head Coach Mark
Magarity's squad bounced back. The Lady Rams
recorded a 30-17 win in the third game and tied the contest with a
30-23 win in the fourth game before falling, 15-13, in the fifth
and deciding game of the match.
Senior outside hitter Emily
Krauss had a tremendous outing for Magarity, recording
a match-high 19 kills to go along with 27 digs while sophomores
Nicole
Berkstresser and Celena
Rendon added 15 kills and 14 kills,
respectively. The setback ends a four-game winning streak for
Philadelphia University, which falls to 17-12 overall.
