Philadelphia, PA- The
Philadelphia University women's soccer team (2-6-3, 1-0-2 CACC)
fell 3-0 to Kutztown (6-3-1) on the road on Wednesday afternoon in
a non-conference match.
Freshman Gabrielle Haden (Freehold, NJ/ Colts
Neck) led the Lady Rams with four shots, while sophomore
Natalie Vespe (Acto, NJ/ St. Joseph) added two for
the contest.
KU struck in the first half as Nina Zerrer scored the
game-winner at 13:40, and Chelsea Bressler added the other two
scores for the Golden Bears (along with assisting on Zerrer's
goal).
Phila U. senior goalie Sara Hall (Wilmington,
DE/ Wilmington Charter) had nine saves, and KU keeper Steph
Addleman had eight stops in the match.
The Lady Rams will host Nyack on Saturday, October
4th at 12:00 p.m. in a homecoming match-up.
