Lodi, NJ- The Philadelphia University
volleyball team (11-8, 6-2 CACC) won their third straight match,
beating both Felician College and Southern Connecticut State
University 3-0 on the road on Saturday.
Set scores vs. Felician were:25-12, 25-15 and 25-19.
Set scores vs. Southern Connecticut were: 25-21, 25-20 and
25-22.
Senior Katie Miller (Elkton, MD/ Rising Sun)
led the Lady Rams with 14 kills and 21 digs on the day, good enough
for a 3.5 digs per game average.
Junior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C.
Clark) added 12 kills and 16 digs, while freshman Rebecca
Waybrant (Gettysburg, PA/ Gettysburg) contributed with 10
kills and five digs.
Sophomore setter Lauren Hoover (New Baltimore,
MI/ Anchor Bay) had 31 assists and six digs. Junior
Nicole Berkstresser (Bridgewater, NJ/
Bridgewater-Raritan) chipped in nine kills, three digs and six
blocks.
The Lady Rams travel to Holy Family on Tuesday, October
14th at 7:00 p.m.
