Volleyball Bounces Back in 3-1 Win vs. Holy Family

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (18-11, 13-3 CACC) battled to a 3-1 win over the visiting Holy Family University Lady Tigers (21-13, 12-4 CACC) in a big conference match on Tuesday night.  The win gives PhilaU a split with HFU in the regular season, as the Lady Tigers won 3-1 at home in mid-October.

Senior Katie Miller (Elkton, MD/ Rising Sun) gave the Lady Rams the lift they needed, with a team-high 13 kills and nine digs.  Fellow senior Molly Malone (Rochester, NY/ Gates Chili) seemed to have an answer in tight spots for PhilaU as she contributed four kills and three digs.

Junior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) added seven kills and seven service aces, along with 12 digs.

Freshman setter Adrienne Stigura (Reading, PA/ Reading Central Catholic) had 16 assists and 10 digs for the Lady Rams.
