Philadelphia, PA- The Lady Rams volleyball
squad (18-12, 13-4 CACC) dropped their final home match of the
season in a 3-2 loss to Wilmington University (18-15, 11-6 CACC) on
Senior Day at the Gallagher Athletic Center.
Set scores were: 26-24, 20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 13-15.
PhilaU took sets one and three, but couldn't hold on as the Lady
Wildcats ran off with the CACC victory.
Senior Katie Miller (Elkton, MD/ Rising Sun)
had a strong performance with 29 digs and 15 kills, while junior
Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) had
22 digs, 14 kills and two aces for the Lady Rams.
WU's Caitlin Hess and Meghan Frick combined for 39 kills for the
Lady Wildcats.
Senior Lindsay Butler (Dekalb, IL/ Dekalb)
added four kills and three digs in her final appearance at the
Gallagher Center for PhilaU.
Junior setter Lauren Hoover (New Baltimore, MI/
Anchor Bay) had 28 assists and 11 digs for the Lady Rams.
The maroon and gray will hit the road for their final regular
season match at Caldwell College on Saturday, November
8th at 12:00 p.m.
