Philadelphia, PA- Sophomore
midfielder Natalie Vespe (Acto, NJ/ St. Joseph)
and junior forward Lauren Golisano (Rochester, NY/
Our Lady of Mercy) both had three goals to lead the Lady Rams
(2-5-2, 1-0-2 CACC) to their biggest win of the season 11-0 over
Lincoln University (3-4) on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Rams got the game-winner less than a minute into
regulation as freshman Gabrielle Haden (Freehold,
NJ/ Colts Neck) scored her first of two goals, assisted by senior
Christy Bauckman (Silver Spring, MD/ Good
Counsel)- who finished with two assists on the day.
Vespe would go on a scoring binge at 9:45 in the first, netting
three goals in a span of six minutes to go up 4-0.
Golisano took her turn, netting two unassisted goals in a one
minute span- beginning at the 16:26 mark.
The Lady Rams got their final score of the first stanza from
freshman Dana Rokoszak (Hillsborough, NJ/
Hillsborough) to go into halftime up 7-0.
Lincoln managed just two shots in the game, and could do nothing
to slow down Phila U. in the second half. Golisano completed
her hat trick at 52:03, while Haden made it 9-0.
Senior Stephanie Filmyer (Harleysville, PA/
Souderton) scored the Lady Ram's final two goals as Phila U. walked
away with an 11-0 victory, outshooting their opponent 38-2.
Senior keeper Sara Hall (Wilmington, DE/
Wilmington Charter) completed the first half without making a stop
for the Lady Rams, and freshman Rebecca Della
Peruta (Hammonton, NJ/ Hammonton) had one save in the
second period.
The Lady Rams host Bloomfield on Saturday, September
27th at 2:30 p.m. next.
