Philadelphia, PA- Led by junior Celena
Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) with seven kills
and five digs, Philadelphia University volleyball (7-7, 3-1 CACC)
swept Goldey Beacom (6-7, 2-4 CACC) 3-0 on Tuesday night.
The Lady Rams won with scores: 25-13, 25-19 and 25-18.
Phila U. got strong performances from senior Molly
Malone (Rochester, NY/ Gates Chili) with six kills and
three digs, along with junior Nicole Berkstresser
(Bridgewater, NJ/ Bridgewater-Raritan) with five kills and a .625
kill percentage.
Freshman setter Adrienne Stigura (Reading,
PA/Reading Central Catholic) had 20 assists and five digs in the
win.
Next up for the Lady Rams will be a Homecoming match vs. Post
University on Saturday, October 4th at 12:00 p.m.
