Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University
volleyball team (16-2, 6-1 CACC) grabbed a 3-0 win over visiting
Goldey-Beacom College (5-11, 2-5 CACC) on Tuesday night.
Senior right-side hitter Nicole Berkstresser
(Bridgewater, NJ/ Raritan-Bridgewater) led the Lady Rams with 16
kills and three digs on the night.
Set scores were: 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.
The Lady Rams held GBC to a negative .59 attack percentage in
their 16th win this year.
Senior outside hitter Celena Rendon (San
Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) had a team-high 16 digs along with eight
kills.
The Lady Rams return to action on Thursday (10/1) at Holy Family
at 7:00 p.m.
