5-1 CACC) got a game-high 24 points from senior guard
Russell Frederick (Baltimore, MD/ Calvert Hall) as
his squad smoked Dominican College (8-11, 4-4 CACC) 74-46 on
Saturday afternoon at the Hennessey Center. Frederick added
four assists in the conference win.
The Rams dominated in every offensive category, most notably
52%-DC's 33% from field goal range.
PhilaU started regulation smoking hot, going on a 14-1 run-
helped by two treys from Frederick. PhilaU freshman guard
Jim Connolly (Harleysville, PA/ Souderton Area)
notched two threes in the first half of his career-high 16 points
on the day.
The visitors led 38-14 at the half.
It was all gray and maroon in the second half, as the Rams led
by as many as 35. PhilaU senior forward Malcolm
Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep) iced the cake
with a made free-throw at 4:58 remaining, adding to his 12 points
in the contest along with five boards.
PhilaU returns to action at home on Tuesday (1/26) in an 8 p.m.
contest vs. the University of the Sciences in the Gallagher
Athletic Center.
