– Philadelphia University volleyball (12-6, 10-2
CACC) comes out on top in a five set match to take out Caldwell
(13-7, 10-3 CACC). The night was led by rookie outside-hitter
Leanna
Lillge who ended with 17 kills, 18 digs while adding two
service aces.
Set scores
were: 29-27, 12-25, 26-24, 18-25 and 15-12.
Other big
players for the Rams included sophomore middle-hitter Ellie
Edgar who came out with 11 kills and junior setter
Adrienne
Stigura who led the team in sets with 21. 20 more sets
were then added by senior setter Lauren
Hoover.
Coming up
big for Caldwell was Cory Roesing with 14 kills and 17 digs.
The Rams
return to PhilaU to face Georgian Court Monday (10/18) at 7 p.m in
a rematch of the past two CACC Championship games.
