Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team (8-4, 6-1 CACC) won a 3-0 match over visiting Bloomfield College (4-6, 4-4 CACC) on Saturday afternoon.

Set scores were 25-21, 25-18 and 25-15.

PhilaU was led by rookie outside-hitter Leanna Lillge, who tallied 15 kills and 12 digs on the day. 

BC was helped by a team-high 10 kills and 14 digs from Uerequenia Pereira.

The Rams came out strong, behind 14 digs from freshman libero/outside hitter Brittany Olson, along with 19 sets from senior setter Lauren Hoover.

The PhilaU team returns to the hardwood on Tuesday (10/5) at home vs. Chestnut Hill College at 6 p.m.
