Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (14-6, 12-2 CACC) aced Chestnut Hill College (4-19, 1-11 CACC) in a 3-1 match at the Sorgenti Arena Wednesday night. Big plays were made by freshman outside-hitter Leanna Lillge who added 17 kills to the Rams overall total of 60. 18 digs and three service aces were also made by the rookie.

Set scores were: 25-16, 23-25, 25-14 and 26-24.

Other big games were had by sophomore middle-hitter Ellie Edgar who ended the night with 12 kills along with seven digs and freshman outside-hitter/libero Brittany Olson who came away with 13 digs and three service aces.

The Rams return to the Gallagher Center to face off against Dominican College on Saturday (10/23) at 1 p.m. Philadelphia University will be honoring its fall senior athletes in all home contests that day.
