Philadelphia,
PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (6-2, 4-0
CACC) aced Georgian-Court (1-10, 1-2 CACC) on their fifth straight
win Monday (9/20). The contest was a rematch of the CACC
championship last year and represented the first win over
Georgian-Court for any of the current PhilaU players. With a
combined 18 digs and 14 kills, freshman outside-hitter Leanna
Lillge helped bring the Rams to
victory.
Set scores were: 25-14, 24-26,
25-21 and 25-18
Also coming up big for the Rams
were freshmen outside-hitter/libero Brittany
Olson who added 19 digs as well as senior setter
Lauren
Hoover who led the Lady Rams with a team high 16
sets.
Brandi Arsenault had 11 kills
for GCU while Amy Berry added 18 digs.
The Rams continue their games on
the road as they head to East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday
(9/22) 7 p.m.
