Langhorne, PA- The Philadelphia University
volleyball team (2-2, 0-0 CACC) won in straight sets 3-0 over
Philadelphia Biblical University (1-2) on Thursday evening on the
road.
Set scores were 25-17, 25-20 and 25-19.
PhilaU was led by rookie outside-hitter Leanna
Lillge (Ixonia, WI/ Water Town), who gave the
Crimson Eagles problems all night- racking up 11 kills and 17 digs.
Sophomore middle-hitter Ellie
Edgar (Cuyahoga Falls, OH/ Cuyahoga Falls) added seven
kills and one block.
PhilaU setters senior Lauren
Hoover (New Baltimore, MI/ Anchor Bay) had 19 sets and
six digs, while sophomore Adrienne
Stigura (Reading, PA/ Reading Central Catholic) added
12 sets and four digs.
PhilaU hits the wood again on Tuesday (9/14) at Wilmington
University at 6 p.m. in their conference opener.
