ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Forward Janine Cascio scored the game-winning goal 3:32 in the second extra time session to give the Philadelphia University women's soccer team a 2-1 win over host Molloy Thursday night.

The Lady Rams earned their first non-conference win of the 2012 season as they improve to 11-4-0 overall. Molloy goes to 4-7-1 overall.

Cascio scored her third goal, and second game-winner, on Philadelphia's second shot of the second overtime. She received a pass from Kristen Ferguson and, after a few touches in the box, deposited the ball into the left side of the net.

Philadelphia opened the match applying pressure on the Molloy defense with three shots and two corner kicks in the first 16 minutes. The pressure paid off in the 24th minute as Carla Chmielewski scored her third goal of the year to give Philadelphia a 1-0 lead. Chmielewski headed in a crossing pass from the left side by Copleand.

The Lions' response came from Alyssa Faller, who scored on a penalty kick at the 39:47 mark.

Kelli Kowalewski didn't make a save during the match to earn the win in goal for Philadelphia. Molloy's Tricia Zarro made one stop.

The Lady Rams outshot the Lions, 13-8, and owned a 4-0 corner kick advantage.
